Nordic Nights: About

Nordic Nights

Soar up in the skies and dive down into the water’s depths on a journey of wonder, trickery and hope!

Storytelling and music weave into each other in this engaging and absorbing performance inspired by the myth, magic and mystery of stories written and told in Nordic region. Light and darkness, witches, robbers, ghosts and the sea are some of topics that have inspired the creation of this work that also celebrates 2022 as Scotland’s Year of Stories.

"This performance will capture the imagination and transport people on a fantastical journey. I feel that we are very lucky to live in the unique and distinctive Nordic region, a geographic area that is very rich in beautiful stories, often heavily influenced and inspired by the natural surroundings that define our everyday – the sea, the wind, the wildlife and the ruggedness of the landscape."
